Prairie Sun Solar is Saskatchewan based Canadian solar company. We have installed well over 3000 solar panels, passed over a hundred SaskPower electrical inspections and impress every customer we work with our professionalism. We provide each customer a professional experience from the initial meeting with Brenden, our design Engineer and Red Seal Journeyman Roofer, to the expert installation by Dylan, our Red Seal Journeyman Electrician. Both of us are on site during the installation process. We cover every aspect of your solar installation in house to ensure the highest standards of quality workmanship. We promise a clean solar installation and we deliver on that promise, leaving our customers satifisfied every single time.

Dylan Toniello

Dylan attended trade school at SIAST in Moose Jaw, where he received his Red Seal Journeyman certificate as an Electrician. He has over 12 years of experience in the electrical industry with training across all platforms of electrical including Solar, Industrial, Commercial, Residential. Dylan also has factory certified training for generator installation and battery back up systems through Generac Power Systems. Dylan shows passion in everything he does. This being in both his career as well as in his family life. He continuously strives to be better at what he does and is always looking for further opportunities to better his knowledge and skills. Which he continually demonstrates by pursuing every training opportunity available to him. Dylan has a strong passion for Solar Energy and is committed to showcasing the benefits of what clean energy can do for you, and your family.

Brenden Owens

BRENDEN OWENS

Brenden has attained his Engineering Degree right here at home at the University of Regina. He has also taken factory training for generators and battery back up systems through Generac’s certification process in Wisconsin. He is Solar Installers of Canada CSA Solar Certified for the design and installation of solar products. He is a Red Seal Journeyman Roofer and has over 15 years of experience in the roofing industry working with residential shingle roofs, commercial flat roofs, and metal roofs. Brenden is an extremely detailed person and is a natural problem solver. This shows in the meticulous care he puts into all of his work. He will be the creator of your generator or solar design, and your communication gateway at almost every level!

Catlin Schneider

Catlin grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan, and attended Greenall High School. He played football for the University of Regina Rams football club while he studied petroleum engineering. Catlin now competes as a professional curler. He has been working in the renewable energy and carbon reduction industry for the last three years. Utilizing both his Bachelor of Engineering degree as well as his 4th Class Power Engineering steam ticket. He is a Certified Energy Manager through the Association of Energy Engineers. Catlin also has his business certificate from the University of Queens School of Business. Catlin is a co-owner and specializes in the assessment, design, and procurement process as Prairie Sun Solar’s Project Manager and head of Customer Relations.

Nolan Dezotell

Nolan lives in Regina, Saskatchewan but has strong family farming roots in Davidson, Saskatchewan. He brings knowledge and experience to the Prairie Sun Solar team. As he has over seven years of experience as a senior superintendent with a well-established home building company in Regina. With Nolan’s superintendent background. He has a vast knowledge of construction which translates well into his role as customer relations manager. Nolan is not all work and no play! When he isn’t consulting with you about solar or generators. You can find him on the baseball diamond with the Regina Trappers or else utilizing his membership golfing at the Royal Regina. Nolan also enjoys giving back to the community and he is currently a board member on the Regina Optimist Baseball organization.
